Work with me….
Hi, I’m Maureen DeLorenzo—though most people call me Mo.
I’m a therapist, teacher, community organizer, and Mama to two incredible kids. But I’m also someone who knows the darker, messier sides of being human: I’ve been a binge eater, a chronic people-pleaser, a control freak, and someone who lived with high-functioning anxiety.
I know what it feels like to lose your spark. Motherhood shook me. I spiraled into worry, fear, all-or-nothing thinking, constant second-guessing, and impossible expectations. I couldn’t relax—ever. The worse I felt, the harder I worked to “fix it” and stay busy. But that hustle left me drained, overwhelmed, and quietly resentful.
Eventually, I hit a wall. I couldn’t keep living like that. I longed to feel at ease in my own skin—to live with intention and tenderness rather than guilt and anxiety. Patience didn’t come naturally. Gratitude felt forced. And calm? That felt like a foreign language.
But over time, my life changed. I stopped rushing through the day and started dancing in the kitchen. I no longer wake up with a knot in my stomach. School drop-offs and the 4 p.m. pickup no longer feel like burdens. I let myself rest when I need it—yes, even if that means a nap while the laundry piles up.
I’ve learned to trust myself again. I don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis or reach for external validation to feel okay. When anxiety or self-doubt creep in, I meet them with curiosity and compassion. I use my emotions as messengers that guide me back to my needs and my inner wisdom. I’m not perfect, but I’m present—and that has changed everything.
And now, I’d love to hold space for you to do the same.
Here’s how we can work together:
✨ 1:1 therapy for individuals
✨ Couples Work
✨ Relationship Ambivalence- Do I stay or do I go?
✨ Women’s Virtual Circles – a supportive community blending experiential education, emotional healing, and the power of shared stories
I work in an integrative way, because there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to healing. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Resourcing, and Mindfulness. But ultimately, what I offer is a space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and begin to trust the wisdom you already hold within.
Reach out if you’re curious, if you have questions, or if you’re just ready to begin.
I can’t wait to walk with you on your journey back to your open-hearted self.
With love,
Mo 💗
